In the BOF, there are 9 English Regional Associations, 3 Home Nation Associations, and the Schools Association.

- EMOA - East Midlands
- NEOA - North East
- NWOA - North West
- SCOA - South Central
- SEOA - South East
- SWOA - South West
- WMOA - West Midlands
- YHOA - Yorkshire & Humberside
The Schools Association is:
- BSOA - British Schools
There is also a Home Nation association for England, EOC English Orienteering Council which has no formal connection with BOF.
